📝 Huntington Beach All-Inclusive Playground Review
This spot is a gem for younger kids. I took my 2-year old and 4-year old here, and they had a blast. The pirate ship–inspired play structure is just steps from the beach and was designed with littles in mind—everything is accessible, low to the ground, and encourages creative play.
My 4-year old daughter loved the built-in scavenger hunt game, where kids can search for little pictures or objects hidden in the panels and structures. It turns regular playground time into an interactive experience.
There’s no shade, but it honestly didn’t feel uncomfortable because of the cool breeze from the ocean. You’ll still want to pack sunscreen and maybe a hat, but the wind helps a lot, especially during mid-day visits.
Another bonus? While your kids play, you get a killer beachfront view and fresh ocean air. The whole place feels open, bright, and perfect for a quick outing or a full beach day.
This playground is the result of a community effort by the Huntington Beach Kiwanis Club, and it was specifically designed to be all-inclusive—making it accessible and welcoming to kids of all abilities.

The play area is enclosed by a very short wall. It won’t fully contain a runner, but it slows kids down a bit.
