My Billy Beez Review at Anaheim

We went to Billy Beez at Anaheim GardenWalk for a weekday playdate with my daughter and her classmate (Wednesday from 4:30 to 6 PM), and it was basically empty — just one other kid there. All three of them played together the whole time without needing much help.

The place is huge, with tons of tube slides, tunnels, bridges, and open slides. It’s super spacious and fully padded.

But my 4-year-old spent most of her time in the pretend play village and the MiniBeez toddler area (for kids 5 and under). They took turns playing classroom and grocery store (which were pretty bare, if you ask me), and then went wild in the toddler zone with the mini zipline, ball pit, hamster wheel, and soft blocks.

Because it was so empty, I didn’t have to follow her around to make sure she wasn’t bumping into people or getting knocked over by big kids. I actually got to sit and chat with the other mom while the kids played. That never happens at busier spots like Playpie or Candeeland.

✅ Pros

  • Not crowded (at least on weekday afternoons)—a nice break from the chaos of other playgrounds
  • Super spacious with tons of tunnels, bridges, and slides big enough for adults
  • Separate toddler zone (MiniBeez) for ages 5 and under
  • 1 adult is included with each paid child admission
  • All-day admission lets you leave and come back the same day

❌ Cons

  • Billy Beez socks required—you have to buy their branded grip socks even if your kid already has some
  • Pretend play area is sparse—cute houses but not many toys or props inside
  • Not as much variety as other indoor playgrounds we’ve been to (like sensory bins or interactive screens)
  • Arcade games cost extra and aren’t included in admission

Billy Beez Photos

  • Bee-themed design throughout the space
  • Ball Blaster Arena – foam ball launchers
  • Sports Court – basketball hoops and soccer balls
  • Helix Slide – five colorful wavy slides side by side
  • Tube slides and open slides
  • Climbing structures with padded steps
  • Tunnels and bridges with padded and netted floors
  • Swings
  • Honeycomb Village – pretend play houses (grocery store, classroom, doctor’s office, restaurant, bank)
  • MiniBeez Toddler Area (ages 5 and under):
    • Padded floors and soft play structures
    • Short zipline
    • Padded hamster wheel
    • Building blocks for obstacle course-style play
    • Ball pit built into the floor
  • Arcade games and claw machines (not included in admission)

🎂 Is It a Good Fit for Your Kid’s Age?

Billy Beez says it’s for ages 1 to 17, but realistically, it’s best for kids 10 and under. The tunnels, slides, and bridges are big enough for adults to fit through, so older siblings can still have fun.

Billy Beez in Anaheim: Is It Worth It?

For us, yes. It’s close to home, super spacious, and not crowded. It’s also located within the Anaheim Resort area, so if you’re visiting from out of town and looking for something to do with little kids outside of Disneyland, this spot is either walking distance from many hotels or just a short shuttle or car ride away.

My 4-year-old had a blast. I honestly can’t imagine a 4-year-old not enjoying an indoor playground like this.

If you’re bringing a baby, I wouldn’t go just for them. There’s not much for babies to do besides crawling and soft blocks in the MiniBeez toddler area. It’s great if they’re tagging along with an older sibling, but not worth the trip on its own.

The website says it’s for ages 1 to 17, but I don’t really see a child over 12 being entertained unless they’re helping or playing with a younger sibling.

If you’re open to going a bit farther, Playpie in Buena Park and Fun For All in Huntington Beach offer a lot more variety for just a few bucks more—think sensory bins, interactive game floors, better pretend play, and more engaging slides.
