📝 Bowling Green Park Playground Review
We first went with just my 2-year-old, and then came back with both kids (2 and 4), and it was just as fun the second time around. The park feels spacious and clean, and there’s a nice distance between the two play structures.
The zipline was a total favorite—my daughter wouldn’t stop riding it, and yes, even my husband and I took turns. It’s such a fun feature and not one you find at every park.
Both kids ended up spending more time on the big kid structure, even though it’s technically for ages 5–12. They were obsessed with the circle fabric levels and the net climbing areas, and loved trying to hang from the bands. The slides on the smaller structure got plenty of action too.
I really liked the stepping stone tray path, which was a new-to-me feature. It was fun for both kids and perfect for helping them practice balance.
The whole place just felt well-designed and refreshed. I used to come here when my daughter was 1, and it’s so great to see how much better it is now after the renovation with more climbing, sliding, and spinning options.

👶 Toddler-Friendly?
Yes, to an extent. If you’ve got a 1-year-old, the toddler bucket swings are great and you can help them down the slides, though they may be a bit steep for solo sliding. The stepping stone path is perfect for hand-holding and practicing balance.
My 2-year-old had a blast on both structures, the stepping path, the swings, and even the zipline (with us holding onto him). Definitely a good park for ages 2 and up.
