Looking for a new spot to play around Orange County (or nearby)? These are the playgrounds and play areas we’ve actually visited with our kids — all toddler-tested, of course.
If you’re like me and just want to know which parks another local mom actually recommends, scroll through below. I snap pics, take notes, and tell it like it is, so you can skip the stress and just go play.
Ready to find your next go-to playground? Click a tag below to filter the playgrounds.
I’m not trying to cover every single park in OC — just the ones we’ve personally visited with our two kids (ages 2 and 4), so I can give you the real scoop:
- Is the playground safe for toddlers?
- Is there shade (or will we melt)?
- Are there bathrooms? Fences?
- What does it actually look like? (I take photos so you can see before you go)
- And most importantly — did my kids actually like it?
For a more comprehensive list, check out FunOrangeCountyParks.com. It’s run by another local OC mom I really admire. She’s been doing this way longer, and her blog’s full of great info.
Planning a full day out? Or just need more kid-friendly ideas beyond parks?
